Partner Events

Some partners of the Pastoralism and Livelihoods Task Force will participate in a preliminary analysis of an applied study on the ecological impact of cross-border migration of pastoralists from northern Tanzania and southern Kenya. The study was commissioned by the Eastern African Environmental Network and was carried out jointly by several local organizations. During this meeting, DFID will present the UK Action Plan on Climate Change in Tanzania - which seeks to bring together under one broad framework, the climate change activities of DFID Tanzania, the British High Commission and the British Council.

As a way of seeking to promote learning and identify linkages with ongoing and planned NGO Projects that address Climate Change in Tanzania, DFID has requested OxfamGB and WWF to make two short 10 minute presentations on their CC work in Tanzania.
