In February the Mama Misitu campaign on forestry governance launched six short informational mini-dramas on national television, raising public awareness and encouraging citizens to take action against illegal logging. The third roundtable discussion on carbon markets convened for an overview of recent activities. Also in February the Forestry and Beekeeping Division hosted its 4th Annual Joint Review Debriefing Workshop of the National Forestry and Beekeeping Programme.

The TNRF secretariat announces the departure of its Coordinator, Dr. Andrew Williams, who has led TNRF since shortly after its establishment in 2006. The TNRF secretariat warmly welcomes Mr. Cassian Sianga who will take over from Andrew as the Acting Executive Director.
