Overall Responsibilities: Your overall objective is to increase youth awareness, knowledge and active participation in health sector planning, implementation and tracking of health resources at district level. Engaging youth in the districts to demand and utilize quality health services is the main approach.

We are searching for a logistics coordinator/research assistant to help us out on the evaluation of a USAID Women and Develoment Grant in Tanzania during August-October.
This person would be responsible for helping us contact key infomants we identify for the assessment, setting up meetings with those informants, helping to set up community focus groups/rapid appraisal workshops in selected rural communities, arranging logistic for the field assessment team (e.g. local transportation, accommodations, translators as needed), and providing research assistance to the assessment team.

The of Center for Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing of the National University of Rwanda (CGIS-NUR) serves as a national and regional training and research centre of excellence in the fields of Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing. The CGIS-NUR has approximately 25 full time or affiliated academic staff and 8 administrative/technical staff members. Due to retirement of its director, NUR is advertising the position to be filled as of September 1, 2008 or as soon as possible. This research and training centre is supervised by the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, and its director operates on a faculty dean level.

Au sein de l'Unité « Ressources forestières et politiques publiques » du CIRAD, l'économiste sera chargé : - de mener des recherches sur les politiques publiques et privées et les instruments incitatifs multilatéraux émergeants dans le domaine de l'environnement, et en particulier des forêts (climat, « biodiversité », etc.) ; - dans ce champ, de participer au montage et à l'exécution de projets de recherche, notamment européens, sur ces thématiques, d'effectuer des missions et expertises dans les pays tropicaux, et d'assurer des tâches d'enseignement et d'encadrement de jeunes chercheurs.
