Training Course on "Governance of Natural Resources and Protected Areas" September 17th-28th 2007

The course, including the 2 days field visits, is being offered for free by the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (UASWS) and the Swiss Development Cooperation. Ms. Andrea Finger Stich from the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (UASWS) and Mr Fred Nelson from the Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) are faciltiating the course. The IUCN CEESP is associated with the course through its Group on Governance, Equity and Rights (TGER). Support in the form of teaching material and support documentation has been kindly provided by the IUCN CEESP in the name of the groups TGER and TILCEPA.

The course is being held in the Wilca hotel (Market Street) in Tabora, and the field visits will target WMAs and VFRs in the surrounding of Ugalla GR and will be implemented in collaboration with AFRICARE.
