Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) is among three partners implementing “Ardhi Yetu” Program II (AYP II). The Program is funded by CARE International to address land issues and effective climate vulnerability, capacity analysis, sustainable adaptation and resilience by targeted community groups and institutions i.e. Land Right Monitors (LRMs), Loose Coalitions, Women networks and Local authorities.

International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and partners Resource Conflict Institute (RECONCILE) and Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) will have a learning visit to Ethiopia on Participatory Rangeland Management (PRM) and Experiences of Implementation, between the 5-10th September 2018.  The visit is organised by the EU-funded ILC Participatory Rangeland Management Project being implemented in Kenya and Tanzania. PRM as an approach was developed in Ethiopia, and scaled up in various areas and countries in order to improve the management of rangelands as well as the rights of local communities to those rangelands. PRM has helped to institutionalise rangeland management practices, improve local investments in them, and increased productivity.

Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) is groming new experts in natural resource sector. In 2018 TNRF has trained 6 field attached students from University of Dodoma, Institute of Accountacy Arusha and University of Dar es salaam as strategy to increase  number of competent actors with practical skills on Natural Resource governance in Tanzania.

Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) in collaboration with the Iringa rural District Council conducted a four days public debate and legal aid sessions on land governance in four villages of Pawaga division, Iringa rural district. The villages include: Itunundu, Kisanga, Isele and Mboliboli from 20^th to 23^th August, 2018. This activity aimed at enhancing community knowledge on land rights and facilitate access to justice.  This is a three year project on Land Governance and Accountability funded by Welthaus Graz and DKA  both  based in Austria and is being implemented in Iringa and Dodoma regions.
