Special initiatives
Body:
TNRF works to facilitate, promote and/or support special natural resource management initiatives which bring about enhanced economic and environmental outcomes.
These special initiatives centre around promoting innovative ideas, smart approaches and best practices in natural
resource management that:
(i) Improve people’s livelihoods, sustain and provide new opportunities for economic development
and enhance environmental outcomes.
(ii) Lead to key improvements in policy and practice in relation to benefit sharing models and the provision of and payment for ecosystem services.
(iii) Widen and deepen people's participation and engagement in natural resource management, improving their access to information and environmental justice
