The 15-member research team of the Pastoralism and Livelihoods Task Force will meet to discuss the next phase of the Value Chain Analysis of the pastoralism economy in northern Tanzania. The research team has recently completed a field test of their data collection tools, which include interviews. The next step is to use the lessons learn from the field test to prepare for the full data collection phase which is scheduled to finish by the end of February 2009.
