I am acting as country coordinator for Tanzania on behalf of Debatewise for their Global Youth Panel. Debatewise is forming a panel of 1,000 young people from more than 100 different countries to debate the issues and decisions from the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December.

The 2009 Development Marketplace (DM) grant competition is seeking innovative solutions addressing climate adaptation. The 2009 global competition is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and additional DM partners. It plans to identify 20 to 25 innovative, early-stage projects addressing climate adaptation. Winning projects will receive a US$200,000 grant for implementation over two years.
