Tanzania has 2 of 25 species of globally endangered primate in imminent danger of extinction

Globally there are 25 primate species on the edge of extinction and, according to a report commissioned by three leading international organisations, scores of others are threatened with the same fate. Tanzania's two listed species are the Rondo dwarf galago (Galagoides rondoensis) and the Kipunji (Rungwecebus kipunji).
