Conference for student grantees of CEPF small grants for Student research
CEPF has been supporting postgraduate students doing their thesis work in Eastern Arc and Coastal Forests of Kenya and Tanzania. This programme is coming to an end with 26 students from Kenya and Tanzania supported.
The climax of this grant programme is a conference that will bring together the beneficiaries to a conference to be held at Starlight Hotel, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on 27th February 2009. This one day conference takes place just after the Final Assessment Workshop for CEPF 5-year investment in the Eastern Arc and Coastal Forests of Kenya and Tanzania (25th-26th February 2009).
In case you happen to be in Dar Es Salaam during this period, you are welcome to participate. Please publicize this amongst your colleagues and students. Attached please find an announcement for the student conference.
