Key responsibilities:
- Develop reporting standards, outcome monitoring and outcome monitoring guidelines (in collaboration with the Learning & Monitoring Coordinator)
- Develop the department’s annual plan
- Ensure that financial resources are used in accordance with approved annual plan and budget
- Assist the Executive Director in fundraising activities
- Provide technical support and assistance to the Working Groups
- Initiate and supervise the establishment and maintenance of a Learning and Engagement Framework
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of TNRF policies
Job requirements:
- A Masters degree in natural resources management, environmental studies, development or a related field
- A thorough knowledge of issues concerning natural resource management and related development of policies in Tanzania and the region
- Project/Programme Management experience and experience with monitoring as a tool for refining strategies
- Experience with outcome monitoring or the interest to learn about it
- Passionate about the need for better governance of natural resources in the region
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Kiswahili and must be computer literate
