Key responsibilities:
  • Develop reporting standards, outcome monitoring and outcome monitoring guidelines (in collaboration with the Learning & Monitoring Coordinator)
  • Develop the department’s annual plan
  • Ensure that financial resources are used in accordance with approved annual plan and budget
  • Assist the Executive Director in fundraising activities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the Working Groups
  • Initiate and supervise the establishment and maintenance of a Learning and Engagement Framework
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of TNRF policies
Job requirements:
  • A Masters degree in natural resources management, environmental studies, development or a related field
  • A thorough knowledge of issues concerning natural resource management and related development of policies in Tanzania and the region
  • Project/Programme Management experience and experience with monitoring as a tool for refining strategies
  • Experience with outcome monitoring or the interest to learn about it
  • Passionate about the need for better governance of natural resources in the region
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Kiswahili and must be computer literate
