The Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) is an advocacy and communication network made up of over 3,800 members. TNRF aims to promote the improvement of natural resource governance to achieve more sustainable rural livelihoods and better conservation outcomes. As a catalyst for change and improvement in natural resource governance TNRF works with communities, civil society organisations and the private sector to increase availability of information, advocate for better governance and environmental stewardship through collective action and innovate and adapt for enhanced economic and environmental outcomes.

TNRF is looking to employ a Finance Manager to be based in Arusha

The Finance Manager's role will include:
• Planning, budgeting and production of monthly financial reports
• Analyzing financial reports, with a focus on expenditure and budgeting
• Supervising the financial team
• Daily treasury management, including cash flow forecasts and budget flows
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFR Standards
• Liaising with the external auditors
• Ensuing that all statutory returns are filed on time
• Preparing and maintaining payroll records
• Maintenance and control over fixed assets, custody, ownership and annual physical
accounts.

Skills and experience required include:
• Proven skills in planning, coordinating financial management reports,
budget preparation, staff development, appraisal and project management.
• A first degree in a relevant field with a recognized accounting qualification (CPA/ ACCA).
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications and Quickbooks.
• Good analytical and narrative skills are required to explain the differences between
actual income/ expenditure and budget amounts.
