Training and Showcase of Environmental Films in Tanzania (EIA)

For the last two years EIA and its partners in Tanzania have been providing civil society groups with skills to strengthen their voices through the use of visual media. The training including information gathering, visual documentation, editing and advocacy has been designed to provide a platform for organisations to campaign more effectively and equitably manage their natural resources.

The aim of the meeting is to provide the opportunity for groups trained under the project to gain an insight into relevant development programmes and media priorities. It will also give you an opportunity to hear first-hand accounts of work being done by local organisation from around the country. The day will include screening of short films and an evening reception.
