Updates on the Value Chain Analysis of the Pastoral Economy

The Value Chain Analysis of the pastoral meat economy is a collaborative study by members of the Pastoralism and Livelihoods Task Force to examine the contribution of pastoral livestock products to the national economy.

A new phase of the study aims to determine whether or not pastoralism is more productive than ranching. This project is co-funded by the Drylands Programme of the International Institute for Environment and Development, VetAID Tanzania, and Ereto Ngorongoro Pastoralist Project.The project is coordinated by the Pastoralist and Livelihoods Task Force.
