Tanzania Natural Resource Forum have received recognition award on the impact in engagement with government for social change. The foundation for Civil Society had received 166 nomination of organization that have outstanding in number of specified areas. Through those nominations TNRF is among the organizations that have received recognition on its work.

Tanzanian civil society organizations (CSOs), under the leadership of Foundation for Civil Society (FCS), conducted an annual event dubbed the “CSO Week” on 4^th to 8^th November 2019. The event had aimed at strengthening the operations and standing of the sector by enhancing engagements among CSOs themselves, and between CSOs and multiple other players including the central government, parliament and the private sector. The main theme for the 2019 CSO Week was “Progress through Partnership: Collaboration as a Driver for Development in Tanzania”.

Tanzania Natural Resource Forum therefore had an opportunity to participate in the CSO week in two aspects;

Conference where different sessions were organized by several CSOs on the contribution of CSOs to economic development; and
The exhibition section to showcase our work and learn from other CSOs.
