CALL FOR PROPOSALS/ INVITATION TO TENDER

With funding from European Union through IFAD and ILC, Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF) is currently implementing Participatory Rangelands Management Project for sustainable rangelands resource management for improved food and livelihoods security among pastoral communities in Kiteto District. The project is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Kiteto District Council, Simanjiro District Council, Longido District Council, Manyara, and Arusha Regional Secretariats, and KINNAPA. The project seeks to build the capacity of the local community to manage their grazing resources, improve livestock infrastructure and empower women's engagements in economic activities.

To achieve results, the project seeks to roll out investments through Community Rangelands Investment Fund (CRIF) identified by the communities in the Ruvuremit cluster (Simanjiro District and Lesingita cluster - Longido District) TNRF thus invites Community institutions, experts, community groups, village council through grazing land committees, Community based organization (CBO) and contractors/suppliers to submit proposals for the following Community investment Projects in grazing land:

Lesingita Cluster:

Lot 1: Cattle dip renovation at Lesingita village in Longido district

Lot 2: Bush clearing through the removal of invasive species at Lesingita village in Longido

Ruvuremit cluster:

Lot 3: Tsetse fly control at Ruvuremit village in Simanjiro district

Lot 4: Bush clearance through the removal of invasive species at Ruvuremit Village in Simanjiro
