Pastoralist Livelihoods Task Force updates on research about pastoralist and ranching meat production

The Pastoralist Livelihoods Task Force will meet to receive updates from the research projects on valuing meat production from pastoralist and ranching systems. The research was commissed by the PLTF in 2009 to understand the contribution from both forms of meat production to the national economy.

The Value Chain Analysis of the pastoral meat economy is a collaborative study by members of the Pastoralism and Livelihoods Task Force to examine the contribution of pastoral livestock products to the national economy.
