Library

TNRF's Library is divided into its downloadable online items and its non-downloadable offline items located at the TNRF Offices.

The offline items in our offices can be browsed on this website through our off-line items catalogue. Over time more off-line items will be made downloadable on a demand-related basis. However, for logistical and copyright reasons, much of the actual material will remain off-line and only accessible in person at TNRF's offices.

To find a document in the TNRF library catalogue, please browse the menu to the left or use the search option at the top left. Most of the downloads held in the on-line library are PDF documents. If your computer is not able to open PDF documents, the following free software download options are available:

Get Adobe Reader Download Adobe PDF Reader | 30.7MB

Download Foxit PDF Reader Download Foxit PDF Reader | 2.45MB

OARE
TNRF members can now access 2045 on-line journals!

TNRF members, board and staff can now access 2045 journals online through the OARE portal using a dedicated computer at the TNRF office. A full list of journals available can be found by clicking here. Use of this facility is according to OARE's free licence agreement and terms of use accessible by clicking here. Remote access can be made available on a case by case basis for TNRF members, board and staff through signing a short MoU with TNRF which sets out some access and use rules which the user must adhere to.

Copyright Policy
TNRF will not knowingly post any information on its website which is subject to copyright restrictions without prior permission having been obtained from the copyright owner(s). Currently TNRF may, from time to time, and in good faith, post a scanned newspaper-cutting of an article from a national newspaper when a weblink to the article is not available, and when the newspaper edition in which the article features has been removed from sale and is no longer current.

If you judge that TNRF has infringed copyright anywhere on its website or elsewhere in its publications, please email the Coordinator at info@tnrf.org; or write by post to P.O. Box 15605, Arusha, Tanzania; or Phone +255 755 022267.

RSS Feed
RSS is a family of Web feed formats which this website uses to publish frequently updated content such as news, upcoming events and information resources that have been recently posted to the TNRF website.

An RSS document, is called a "web feed" and contains either a summary of content from an associated website (e.g. see the 'newsfeeds' link on the 'member resources' menu) or the full text of a TNRF web page item. RSS makes it possible for you to automatically keep up-to-date with new TNRF content without having to check the website manually.
