Reports to: Director- Honeyguide Foundation
Finance Manager -
To provide the organization with professional management of the finances and general administration including data management and human resource management of the Honeyguide Foundation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The responsibilities and duties of the finance manager are defined below in the sections:
Finance and Inventory controls
The office manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the finances of the organization ensuring efficient record keeping and data entry using primarily the quickbooks package.
- Maintenance of financial systems and accounts, provide reports for the monitoring the financial performance of each project.
- Maintain bank accounts and inventory records
- Maintain the donor register
- Manage and review annual and monthly budgets.
- Compile and submit annual reports
- Maintain the asset register
Administration
To maintain the general office and administrative functions of the organization.
· Maintain office filing systems.
· Schedule meetings, appointments, Project visits and other important issues for the director.
· Manage all muster roll of all employees, field workers and volunteers
· Manage all tax payments including NSSF and other employee related payments.
Requirements:
· Secondary school education
· A suitable qualification or in the final stages of the CPA or ACCA certification.
· Speak and write English
· Computer fluent – Microsoft word, excel and Quickbooks V6 or above.
· 3 years experience in a financial department using quickbooks
