The MNRT established this training centre in 1995 in order to facilitate the training of local community members in natural resources management and conservation. Its location amidst the natural environment of the Mbaran'gandu WMA in the northern part of the Selous - Niassa Wildlife Corridor and its proximity to the Selous Game Reserve assures multi sector natural resources and conservation training with a direct contact to community reality.Two standard courses are offered:
- Training of village leaders, CBO and village natural resources committee members in natural resources management and conservation.
- Training of village game scouts.
Other courses can be costumer tailored on request
