Piyaya Village of Ngorongoro District will be the first village to develop its Tourism Management Plan ss part of the joint project on tourism management planning that emphasizes community benefits (www.tnrf.org/groups/tourism). This important event, in the days leading up to UN FCCC CoP 15, will be aimed at profiling and raising awareness on the human impact of climate change in Tanzania. Particular focus will be given to the experiences of small farmers, pastoralist communities, and others that depend on natural resources for their livelihoods.
